I hope someone can help! I tried to send a text via e-mail to three friends, using the vtext. However, I never received a response from them via text, which was unusual. I use Outlook as my e-mail client and wowway.
All sent successfully, but I cannot not receive a text response at those addresses. Could it be a Windows 7 update that is preventing the responses from arriving at my inbox? I even checked my wowway.

So I sent myself a text from my Consumer Cellular phone and the address came up as [email protected]. Overall this has worked pretty well. Have had issues with Verizon and vtext tho. The other friend who has Verizon, my messages to them get cut off mid sentence, shortened etc. Links sent to websites often either do not work or are deleted en route. I started using this method because I refuse to learn how to text, I type well on my qwerty keyboard but texting sucks on a phone IMO.
