Rita springer why

This past year has been such a beautiful experience of trust and lean. God isn't in fear of anything and He knows how to rescue and how to show up when we need Him. I encourage you to let Him walk you past valleys and sing you through trials. He can see you into breakthrough and lead us all to promise.

I hope you love this song! Out of the shadows, into tomorrow, You don't wait for sunrise You will move at midnightOut of my worry, nothing but worship, I won't wait for sunrise I will praise at midnight.

That is just beautiful community! Sonically the album has a really fresh, modern sound. I am driven by a creative streak and I am not one to be caught listening to my old favorite high school songs. Finding a producer should be about pushing envelopes, staying in the loop, and keeping a current status so that you are relatable to a new generation and not writing the same stuff for years!

Eric was a new relationship, one that came with Greely. Chris and Eric built hide-outs out of cardboard boxes together as kids. So when he asked to have Eric partner on the project, I thought them being so in tune with each other would play off well creatively!

They really were a great team! Chris told me that when he was little, his mother would put on my records. So he had grown up with my voice in his house. How did your journey lead you to Gateway and how do you feel it's going? Gateway came into my life when what I needed most was balance. I had been invited several times over the years by the worship pastor, Thomas Miller, and had a great relationship with him and his wife Mary Beth.

I knew that I had come to a fork in the road where I was in Charlotte, North Carolina and needed change. I sent an email to Thomas, asking if an opportunity came up to be on staff, to keep me in mind. To my surprise, within hours, he wrote back and said he and his wife had been praying for that very thing for 13 years! Within the next 8 months, the shift happened. In July of , my son and I drove away from our home in North Carolina and headed for the great state of Texas!

I have spent years being misunderstood in contemporary settings because of my passion for the presence of God. What I love about Gateway is that they appreciate that about me and have never tried changing it.

Gateway is the first place I have been where I feel like I am finally home. Was there anything that you discovered at Gateway Church that has surprised you or has been somewhat unexpected? The way they give. Some of my friends and family members thought that I had this biological clock ticking and that I was making something happen because I was disappointed by God Who cares what others think! I was obeying the Lord!

Of being a single mother, Rita says: "It's hard because of finances and babysitters, travel and doing everything myself In the midst of motherhood, Rita has continued her ministry as a worship leader, recording independently before signing with internationally-distributed worship label Integrity Music. Together with Integrity, she is re-releasing her most recent live project, In This Forever , and a new studio-recorded project, The Playlist.

She also launched a worship school called DIVE Deep-Innovative-Vertical-Expression that trains and encourages upcoming worship leaders with weeklong intensive one-on-one courses. Rita believes that the joy of being a worship leader is to make those listening, jealous for what has been found in Christ. Making Christ famous through the art, act and physical sound of our worship is her anthem and her deepest desire is to see this arise in the body of Christ.

As good as this 10 track live production is at the Anaheim Vineyard, timing and instrument choice are often not commensurate with what Rita does musically. The sometimes Reeves and Mortimer intonation of her singing - "Freedoorm Reigns" - is, however, more than compensated by her excellent writing and performance. And when a sympathic injection of Irish acoustics wafts in, then Rita has set her stage in order.

Particularly worthy of note are the cleverly engineered backing vocals, Eli Thomson's enigmatic bass work and Beth Balmer's Gallic infusion of violin, flute, whistles and voice.
